Fundamental stops are the Sagrada Familia, the Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, Passeig de Gracia and Park Güell. You will be amazed by the beauty of the city.
To continue on our way from Barcelona to Disneyland, we will go to Cadaqués, one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean. We will have to cross several stretches of coast between mountain landscapes. This town is considered one of the most beautiful on the Costa Brava.
Once we have made this stop we will go to Collioure. This French city is almost borderline. Its crystal clear waters and the magic of its ancient architecture create a unique atmosphere. This place is also the starting point to be able to make a route to Monaco.
Camon – Cordes-sur-Ciel – Conques
We move away from Spain to reach the department of Ariége. Specifically, the Camon people, which is located in the Midi-Pyrenees region. Its 8th century Benedictine abbey and other forts are truly wonderful and must-see.
This region is known as the “little Carcassone”. Meanwhile, Camon is considered one of the prettiest towns in the entire country.
Afterwards, we will go to another of the members of the club of the most beautiful villages in France: Cordes-sur-Ciel , in the Tarn department. It is located at the top of a mountain, so its landscapes are really beautiful. In addition, it is one of the most appreciated medieval jewels in France.
After enjoying a medieval atmosphere in Cordes-sur-Ciel, we will head towards the department of Aveyron. We will arrive at Conques, a place well known for its Abbey of Sainte Foy. This monument is one of the pilgrimage places of worship, it is part of the French Camino de Santiago.
Saint-Benoît-du-Sault – Montrésor – Paris
It is the turn to rest and enjoy the views of the department of Indre. We recommend stopping at Saint-Benoît-du-Sault, in the Boischaut Sur natural space. This is another of the mandatory stops on the route from Barcelona to Disneyland. It was a community founded by Benedictine monks between the 15th and 16th centuries.
We enter the Loire department, where we will visit the medieval Montrésor complex, with a fortress dating from the 11th century. This department is known for its castles, so you can always make the odd stop.
We will leave Montrésor behind and in approximately 250 km we will arrive in Paris. Without a doubt, if you travel to Disneyland you must visit the city of love. Its monuments, squares and neighborhoods are truly unique. Once you have visited Paris, you will be able to enter the Disney universe!
