It is located in the municipality of San Martín de Valdeiglesias, east of the Community of Madrid and very close to the border with Ávila. To get there you have to take the M-501.

It is a reservoir built in 1955 and has a surface area of ​​650 hectares. In addition, it is the only one in the Community of Madrid where swimming and water activities such as water skiing, wakesurfing and even riding a jet ski are allowed.

The park is especially frequented during the summer, as there are fully equipped areas for bathing. In fact, on Lake Sanabria there are several beaches: Viquiella beach (or also called Grande beach) and Llago Custo beach (Los Enanos beach).

Las Lagunas de Ruidera, in the province of Albacete, is a very popular destination in Castilla-La Mancha during the summer months. The Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park is an area made up of several lakes enabled for swimming and enjoyment.

You have different options: Laguna del Rey, Golgada, Santos, Salvadora, Redondilla or San Pedro. All of them have areas for bathing, and even shelters where you can spend the night. In total there are 15 lagoons. Its beauty is impressive, since the water is turquoise blue and the vegetation is wonderful.

5. Gulpiyuri Beach

Although this beach is located on the coast of Asturias, it is one of the beaches far from the sea in Spain because there is a wall that hides the beach in the interior. It is located between the coast of the famous towns of Llanes and Ribadesella. To get there you have to go to Naves, the closest town.

Gulpiyuri beach is surrounded by a rock tunnel through which the water passes until it reaches an opening where the beach is located. It is 50 meters long and has been declared a Natural Monument. It may not exactly be an inland beach, but it is a unique natural landscape.
